The Fr. Willie Todd Foundation, established by retired diocesan priest Fr. Willie Todd in partnership with the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana, has been making a significant impact in providing funding for church parishes and Catholic schools within our diocese. Through this foundation, Fr. Todd aims to support new projects and ministries, creating a lasting legacy for the community he has served for many years.

I admires his vision and love for the community, which evident in his generous creation of a fund from his personal finances. Not only does this fund provide immediate support to parishes and schools, but Fr. Todd has ensured that his vision will continue in perpetuity. Fr. Willie Todd’s generosity and dedication make him one of the most remarkable priests with whom the Catholic Foundation has had the privilege to work,” stated Amy Ponson, Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation.
The grant recipients of the Fr. Willie Todd Foundation are carefully selected through a collaborative effort of his grants committee. Fr. Todd works closely with his board of directors, diligently reviewing each application before making final decisions. This year, the Fr. Willie Todd Foundation distributed a total of $36,360 to support various projects.
