The Catholic Foundation is a proud supporter of Catholic Charities, providing support in various capacities such as grants, endowment distributions, and development. Recently, a married couple with two children found themselves in a challenging financial situation. Their homeowners insurance unexpectedly increased dramatically. To add to their troubles, the husband had been laid off from work and faced medical issues that prevented him from passing a physical examination for a while, leaving him unemployed for two months.
Despite their efforts, the couple struggled to catch up with their mortgage payments. Although they eventually managed to get back on track with the help of the husband’s new employment, they still found themselves unable to catch up with their utility payments. It was at this point that Catholic Charities stepped in to lend a helping hand.
Catholic Charities, in their mission to assist those in need, provided support to the couple by assisting them with their utility payments. This act of kindness and generosity eased the couple’s financial burden and allowed them to focus on rebuilding their lives and providing for their children.
