Women’s Giving Circle

What is the Women’s Giving Circle?

The Women’s Giving Circle has kicked off our ninth year of bringing together women to learn about the needs in our community, to raise awareness and provide funds for continued support. Designed as a giving circle, this group will leverage a pooled fund to have greater impact on the organizations they select. Together our members make an impact on women, children and families, we grow together spiritually and focus on making an impact locally as a community of women. 100% of our members gifts are granted out to the nonprofits they choose, with an impact of over $850,000 over the years.

Our Mission

Through collective giving, collaboration, and shared faith, The Mother Teresa Women’s Giving Circle seeks to promote philanthropy that empowers women, compels action, and glorifies God.

Why have a Catholic Women’s Giving Circle?

The Mother Teresa Women’s Giving Circle brings together Catholic women from diverse backgrounds with one common goal: to bring about change through the power of grants that transform lives and build the body of Christ. Throughout the year, we will gather to learn about organizations and their needs, and decide together which projects to fund. There will also be opportunities to share ideas, serve with one another and, of course, plenty of time to socialize.

Please join us for our Sip and Learn!

Join us for a beautiful and meaningful evening as we gather to hear from the local nonprofits who have advanced to the next round of grant funding. Each organization will share their mission and the needs of the women, children, and families they serve here in our Bayou community. Together, we will listen, learn, and prayerfully discern how our collective generosity can make the greatest impact.
Voting Members will cast their votes to help determine which ministries will receive funding through our pooled gifts. Not sure if you’re a Voting Member? Reach out — we are happy to help!
