Faith at Work: July 2023

For the month of July, we are happy to highlight our newly ordained priests in our “Faith at Work” series!

The Catholic Foundation is incredibly proud of our three newly ordained priests: Fr. Joseph Lapeyrouse, Fr. Matthew Prosperie, Fr. Davis Ahimbisibwe and we are honored to have supported their education these past six years. May the Lord bless them as they begin leading our Catholic faithful!

Since our inception, the Catholic Foundation has provided over $1.15M to the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux for Seminarian Education through our restricted endowments. Through the generosity of thousands, the Catholic Foundation can continue to provide perpetual support for our seminarians. Thank you for all who have supported the Foundation’s seminarian education endowment. It is because of you that our diocese has been able to educate and ordain 14 priests since 2017.”
