The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana is partnering with the Lafourche Education Foundation and the Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence to host a school supply drive and STEM event for public and Catholic school students.

(Schriever, LA, October 21,2021) The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana, in partnership with LEC and TFAE, will host a school supply drive on October 28 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Fletcher Technical Community College. The drive will also have a STEM event at which students in attendance will receive a Halloween-themed, “Spooky” STEM kit.

The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana will provide 500 meals and 500 bags of candy for those in attendance. The effort is intended to be a fun, educational and unifying experience for public and Catholic school students.

“The Catholic Foundation is excited to partner with LEF and TFAE to host this STEM and schools supply drive for children from all backgrounds and all schools across our bayou communities. The past two months have shown us that partnerships and working together helps impact the entire community and brings an experience of unity and community that we all need! We are one community in this together and are excited to give out supplies, STEM Kits and a bit of Halloween fun!” – Amy Ponson, Executive Director
