The event aims to raise funds for the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana, enabling it to continue its valuable work in the community. Additionally, a grant will be provided to Catholic Charities, furthering their mission of helping those in need.

The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana is so excited to announce the 2024 St. Joseph’s Dinner guest speaker, Ms. Phyllis Taylor!
Ms. Taylor is a remarkable force in our community, known for her faith-driven philanthropy and visionary leadership. She has also been an incredible advocate and member of our Mother Teresa Women’s Giving Circle for a number of years.
As the Chief Executive Officer of Endeavor Enterprises L.L.C. and Chairman of the Patrick F. Taylor Foundation, Ms. Phyllis Taylor has dedicated her life to serving others. A graduate of Tulane University School of Law and a former law clerk for the Louisiana Supreme Court, her distinguished career in the oil industry began in 1972. She is also a champion for education, continuing her late husband’s legacy by providing opportunities for students through merit-based scholarships.
With over 35 years of service on numerous boards, including the Smithsonian National Board and the New Orleans Business Council, where she has received multiple awards recognizing her outstanding public service.

The Catholic Foundation is pleased to announce that Mr. Kenny and Mrs. Kate Wood have been selected as this year’s recipients of the Good Shepherd Award. Their dedication and service have made them an integral part to both the Foundation and the Diocese.
As our diocesan administrator, Very Rev. Simon Peter eloquently expressed, Mr. Kenny and Mrs. Kate have generously shared their God-given gifts with others. Their selflessness and commitment to helping those in need have made a significant impact on the lives of many.
