Pilgrimage to Chicago with Bishop Simon Peter
The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana invites you to join Bishop Simon Peter Engurait on a special pilgrimage to Chicago—an opportunity to grow in faith, prayer, and fellowship with fellow pilgrims from our diocese.
Inspired by the launch of the Maximilian Kolbe Society, Bishop Simon Peter desired to create a meaningful pilgrimage experience to the Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe, and other memorable landmarks for the men of the Society and their spouses, while also welcoming members of our diocesan community who wish to journey in faith alongside him.
We will visit the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe and the beautiful University of Saint Mary of the Lake / Mundelein Seminary, while sharing in moments of prayer, reflection, and fellowship with our bishop as spiritual director.
